Data Engineer (Terraform)

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer with strong Terraform expertise to join a major data transformation programme. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, building, and supporting cloud-based data platforms and infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.

The role requires hands-on experience in data engineering, cloud technologies, and Terraform-driven infrastructure automation, ensuring secure, scalable, and compliant data solutions within an environment.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Strong experience as a Data Engineer delivering      enterprise-scale data solutions.

• Strong hands-on experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC), provisioning, deployment      automation, and environment management.

• Experience building and maintaining cloud-native data platforms on AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Strong SQL skills and experience developing ETL/ELT pipelines.

• Experience with Python, Spark, Databricks, or similar data engineering technologies.

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.

• Experience with Git, version control, and automated deployment processes.

• Strong understanding of data governance, security, and compliance requirements.

• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
