About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled French-speaking Oracle Cloud HCM Payroll Interface Expert to lead the critical integration efforts connecting our client's Oracle HCM solution with external payroll providers across Europe. This role requires a unique blend of deep technical and functional knowledge to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant data exchange for payroll processing. You will act as the crucial bridge between our client’s French-speaking HR/Payroll teams, the Oracle Cloud platform, and third-party vendors.


Roles and Responsibilities


1. Interface Design and Configuration

  • Design and Build: Lead the functional and technical design, configuration, and testing of Oracle Global Payroll      Interface (GPI) or related integration methods (HCM Extracts, BI Publisher, Fast Formulas, B2B messaging).

  • Data Mapping: Define detailed data mapping rules to ensure HR data (employee changes, time, benefits,      compensation) correctly translates into the specific formats required by diverse external payroll systems (e.g., French, Swiss, or Belgian payroll providers).

  • Compliance: Configure and maintain integration rules to ensure adherence to local labor laws, tax requirements, and data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR data deletion processes).

2. Testing, Validation, and Issue Resolution

  • Integration Testing: Design and execute comprehensive integration testing cycles and parallel payroll runs to validate data accuracy and completeness between Oracle HCM and the receiving payroll engine.

  • Troubleshooting: Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) to diagnose and resolve complex interface errors, data discrepancies, and processing issues that arise during payroll cycles.

  • Quarterly Updates: Assess the impact of mandatory Oracle Cloud quarterly updates on existing interfaces and implement necessary regression testing to prevent downtime or failures.

3. Stakeholder Management and Communication

  • Bilingual Communication: Facilitate technical and functional workshops with French-speaking client HR/Payroll teams and non-French technical resources, translating requirements accurately.

  • Requirements Gathering: Conduct detailed workshops with local payroll administrators to capture precise requirements for earnings, deductions, and reporting needs.

  • Vendor Liaison: Manage communication and testing coordination with external payroll providers and third-party integrators.

Documentation: Create and maintain high-quality functional and technical documentation for all payroll interfaces and custom reconciliation reports.

Requirements


  • Experience: Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM, with extensive focus on payroll integrations and interfaces (e.g., GPI, HCM Extracts).

  • Language: Fluency in French (both written and verbal) is mandatory for client-facing workshops and documentation in the French-speaking European market. Professional fluency in English is also required.

  • Technical Skills: Proven ability to configure and troubleshoot HCM Extracts, Fast Formulas (FF), and BI Publisher for data manipulation and security context setup.

  • Functional Knowledge: Strong functional understanding of core HCM modules (Core HR, Absence, Time & Labor) and their direct impact on payroll data.

  • Compliance: Familiarity with European payroll compliance concepts and data exchange regulations (e.g., GDPR, specific statutory deductions).

  • Certification (Preferred): Oracle Cloud HCM or Global Payroll certification is highly desirable.
